In case you don't want to send your carpets to a professional cleaning crew, the carpet can be cleaned at home, following the following steps:\r\n\r\n- Vacuum both sides of the carpet very well.\r\n\r\n\r\n- Use a low-foam cleaner for washing.\r\n\r\n\r\n- Scrub the surface of the carpet with a very soft brush and rinse.\r\n\r\n\r\n- When the washing process is over, roll the carpet up (to avoid it from getting crushed) and let it drain. Then lay it out in a shady place making sure there are no creases or breaks in the backing or the end of the rug.
