Description
Transform your interior into a comfortable and warm cocoon with this authentic Berber rug woven in the Atlas Mountains in the heart of Morocco. Our Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a specific variety of sheep, known for its small size and high strength. Creating these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, as well as a large dose of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months - depending on the size of the rug - to make each of these unique pieces. These rugs are made by the Azilal tribes in the High Atlas region. They are often colorful with abstract patterns, geometric shapes and tribal symbols.
